A DECADE OF EXCELLENCE IN PUBLISHING!

The 10th Nairobi International Bookfair is here. From 26th to 30th September 2007, all publishing houses, authors, distributors and book lovers will be celebrating a decade of excellence in publishing.

The event, which is scheduled to take place at the Sarit Centre, will be accompanied by a myriad of events; road shows, poetry sessions, discussions on topical issues, children activities, book launches and so much more!

East African Educational Publishers will be marking the 10th Year of excellence in publishing in true African style. We invite all book lovers to our stand and have a taste of true African experience through books written by renown as well as upcoming African authors; Ngugi wa Thiong'o, Chinua Achebe, Cyprian Ekwensi, Marjorie Oludhe Macgoye, Onduko bw'Atebe, Okelo Nyandong and many others.

With 40 years of excellence in publishing, each day will be planned around the best in every decade, from the Golden 70's Wednesday, through Exciting 80's Thursday, Techno 90's Friday, Digital Saturday and Cyber Sunday.

On 27th of September, we invite you to the launch of the new E.A.E.P English and Kiswahili Reading Schemes; known as Sunrise and Visa na Vituko series respectively. These are brilliantly illustrated graded readers that will leave all young readers yearning for more. We encourage you to bring all pre-school and lower primary readers to this event. The launch will take place between 3:30pm and 4:30pm at the Sarit Centre exhibition hall.

On 28 th September 2007, E.A.E.P will be launching Akokhan, a comic book by celebrated comic artist, Frank Odoi.
