Regional Sales Representative
Department: Sales & Marketing
Job Title: Regional Sales Representative
Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Specific Location: Anywhere in the country

Role Purpose
He/She will be responsible for ensuring that all company products reach the outlets in the region, including liaising with stakeholders for proper market coverage.  He/She will be responsible for market intelligence and customer care.
Responsible for innovation ensuring direct clear communication to consumers, enhance the understanding of our product portfolio and increase acquisition, usage, penetration and Revenue generation.
• Work with Mass Marketing - Sales on the Trade Channel Strategy that improves the development, planning and implementation of the company's relationship with the stakeholders and consumers in the various market segments
• Creates demand for products to the company’s larger customers via direct and indirect marketing relations.
• Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Essential role related knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience at selection:

Education Background
:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Marketing Option), education, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/institution.
  • At least three years working experience in a sales oriented goods environment.
  • A valid driving licence with at least three years accident free driving.

Essential skills will include:

  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Both oral and written).

•Assists in planning and execution of corporate events like trade fairs, seminars, corporate product launches etc
• Assists management in devising new sales and marketing plans and strategies:
• Assists management in determining effective marketing techniques
• Determines ways to differentiate from competitors
• Work with management to identify up selling opportunities
• Identifies and takes advantage of opportunites

MANAGING DIRECTOR JOB PROFILE
This position comes with the responsibilities outlined below;

Publishing and Production

  • Preside over approval of new title acquisitions by the Editorial Board
  • Supervise New books/Product development
  • Ensure proper costing of all products
  • Ensure close liaison with Printers and other Service Providers
  • Encourage research in editorial development and new forms of publishing media,   automation, equipment policies and procedures
  • Keep abreast of publishing industry trends and their possible impact on EAEP.

Sales & Marketing

  • Monitor Annual/Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly sales budgets and performance
  • Monitor the formulation and implementation of new marketing plans and strategies
  • Oversee and approve new prices, discounts, and any special offers
  • Approve all essential information/publicity/promotional materials going out of the company to clients.

Finance

  • Establish Corporate development plans
  • Oversee preparation of yearly Corporate Revenue/Capital budget and its subsequent implementation
  • Receive and review Monthly Management accounts and initiate remedial measures as necessary
  • Monitor operating and capital budgets and cash flows for all projects and activities
  • Monitor the company’s Financial performance using performance indicators set by the company
  • Ensure a strong and enforceable credit policy and review as necessary.

Human Resource/Administration

  • Hire, instruct and supervise all staff
  • Evaluate staff in accordance with evaluation procedures set by the company and with inputs from head of Department
  • Lead staff in developing long-range goals, direction and plans in support of the EAEP Mission and Vision
  • Handle personnel related activities- salary reviews, training, disciplinary actions to ensure that they are in the interest of the company
